It's time for some local holidays in my town, so I'm taking some days off. I won't be at home, so I'll publish the next page on Tuesday or Wednesday instead of Monday. I'm sorry for the delay, but I need a little break ^^U
As always, thanks for following the comic, and for being so supporting and understanding ^^
Big hug! ^__^
We're back!! =D
I finally discovered that the problems I was having were caused by my tablet pen. You can blame my clumsiness (it seems I dropped the pen too many times... ^^U).
But I bought a new one and I can start drawing again! =_)
I'll upload a new page later today, and Flow will be on as usual every Monday!
I hope you guys had great holidays and that 2019 brings you lots of happiness!
See you on the pages!
PD: By the way, thanks to all of you who completed the Christmas poll. Check your email! ;)
So... vacation is over!
Flow is almost reaching 200 fans, and I'm so glad and so motivated! Thanks to you all, guys!
Your support is one of the reasons why I'm planning to start a Patreon this year. I'll keep you posted about this. I feel excited and a little bit insecure, but I'll give it a try ^_^
I hope you have a nice summer! Ekaitz, Haize and myself will be here for you!
I'm taking some days to go on holiday, so I'll be updating "Flow" on Monday 23th instead of next Monday.
Thanks to all of you, as always, for following the comic and being so nice. We'll be back on track soon ^_^
See you in a few days!
Currently I'm not at home and I don't have my PC, so the update will be late today or maybe tomorrow in the morning. Sorry! ^^U
Thanks for your patience!
For some time I've been meaning to write this post, so.... here! =D
Flow happens in a Spanish province called Navarra, which is in the north of Spain. There, people speak a different language called Euskera or Basque. All the names in this comic are Basque names, and most of them mean something.
Ekaitz means 'storm', and Haize means 'wind'. That's why, in the cover, Ekaitz is under the rain and Haize is facing the breeze ^_^ In the beginning, I was going to use Japanese names, but in the end I chose Basque. Though I don't speak it, I like very much how it sounds.
There are more secret details around all this, but I'll disclose them further in the future ;)
This morning I was thinking about this, when I found out that a 16 year-old Basque trans boy named Ekai (so close to Ekaitz...) was found dead. He committed suicide because he couldn't stand the social pressure and the bullying. It's so sad and absurd...
That's one of the reasons why I started this comic. I didn't want to write just a boy love story. I wanted it also to mean something, and to show some reality about the problems and issues non heterosexual relationships involve.
Well, sorry for the off-topic, but I just needed to say it.
Anyways, I promise this story will be optimistic about all this though ^_^
Thanks a lot for reading! ^^
I'm sorry I'm late for this week's update. I've been working non-stop for two weeks while fighting against a cold that doesn't want to leave me alone, so yesterday I finally died x_x
But, hey, I'm again alive and kicking, and I plan to finish some pages this week ^^ I don't know about you, but I miss my two guys a lot when I spend more than a week without drawing them ^^U
I hope you like this week's page.
I'm so happy updating today, because... I passed my second dan exam!!!
As my characters, I also practice aikido (well, in fact, it's my fault they do XD), and this weekend I had the final test to pass from black belt first dan to second dan, and I did it!! I still can't completely believe it =D
Thanks for staying with Haize, Ekaitz and me in our evolution!
Hugs for all of you! ^_^
